What our residents have to say...

Pat + Carol -
Resident since 2015

Our major reason behind making the move to Nagambie was that some of our grandchildren had relocated to Melbourne, the medical facilities, shopping both in town and regionally, the ability to come and go as we please knowing that people were around to keep an eye on our unit which gave us the freedom of a settled lifestyle and the freedom to still do some wandering.

Since moving to Kelvingrove Village our expectations have been met, and we have made some wonderful friendships, playing indoor bowls and Friday night community get togethers etc.

Di -
Resident since 2017

We looked at a couple of Lifestyle villages in the area but found them too clinical; nearly all the houses were the same design, only difference was your furniture from the neighbours;  no gardens of your own around the houses, and too demanding a lifestyle based on using all their fancy facilities and such.  But we wanted to have a quieter and less hectic retirement life.

I encourage any person wanting to downsize to consider Kelvingrove Village. It is a comfortable, lifestyle village and it can assist many older folk with a quieter future, without the responsibilities of managing a larger home.

Resident since 2012

A friendly village offering company when want it and privacy when you need it. Fortunately our village is owned and managed by a friendly and caring family. I had been a regular Melbourne visitor to Nagambie for 20 years before settling at Kelvingrove, it was the right and obvious choice for me

Sue + Alan-
Resident since 2012

Living in Kelvingrove is very peaceful and enjoyable with friendly neighbours all around us. We enjoy the various functions we have in our community room. The owner/manager are very approachable and friendly people and we have our weekly rubbish collected and mail delivered to our door. The town of Nagambie serves the community well with all its facilities.

Margaret-
Resident since 2006

It's nearly 14 years and I just love being here. its quiet and everybody is friendly and always willing to give a helping hand if needed but still have our own privacy. We have a  great swimming pool and community hall we can use everyday. Lots of activities, entertainment, dinners ad BBQ's. The men love to chat around the bar and play pool while the ladies chat and play board games. I enjoy reading the monthly newsletter with lots of photos and tales taken from the residents and their interesting life and travels. I just love the town of Nagambie, very friendly people. Nagambie has a senior citizens club with lots of outings and lunches and more activities.
